julii-Dream of me (Remixed + new vox) |
 |
|
Well...here's my review for you Juli
I really liked this song , I think it's my favorite from your stuff in CTG so I decided to review it
The track opened really fast...no intro and still...really good opening , fast kicking , and live !
Good job here
I think that the track lacks a good rhythm of drums ( I think that the track need some opened hihats and CLS hats -FPC loops ]...the hit / snare was really good , it really fitted the kick .
The background sound ( that nice synth sound ) was really nice . Maybe you should turn it up a little bit or something , you can also add another background melodies and s [more..] |

 Sunfall-Mechanoid (Original Dub Mix) |
 |

I will want Sunfall's bonemarrow for transfusion of skills.
If Resident Evil (the movies) had a trance soundtrack, this could be it. If you're longing for dark "minimalistic" and melancholic trance, this is definitely it.
The overall thin and metallic soundscape fits the track exceptionally well, and i'm very curious about what setup Sunfall is sitting on. Or more specifically what did he use producing this?
There's really not much to complain about here and if i have to pick something it it would be the percussion sitting too loud/too hi-end for a peacefull listening as it tires the ears. I also think it could have been done a tad softer, but [more..] |

Hey E.L.A.D!
Okay so I have checked out all your melodic trance tracks... This song (IoniZer) was the first one I played & after listening to the others and back to this a few times, without a doubt this is the one I like!
Many melodic trance tunes tend to favor extremely long intros, which usually work to build the vibe slowly. However, that said... I really love that your progression from the chords/strings, to the arp./ runner followed by the beat introduction all introduced in under 20 secs and 12 beats works a treat for this song!
The intro being so quick to get you into the mood of the track, makes the listener expect another quick intensity ch [more..] |

 Sparda-Predictable Proto-Particles |

First of all, Sparda should get a reward (pie, cookie, something) for producing tracks on such a crappy computer using only, what i assume, earplugs for reference.
This is a pretty powerful dark psytrance track with lots of variation. You will NEVER get tired of listening to this. Remember the "old" structure of intro, chorus, verse, chorus, outro? Well, forget about it. This is chorus1, chorus2, chorus3... you get the idea. Stockpiled right after eachother by a madman.
Come to think of it, of course you'd run out of ideas if you keep pumping tons of them into the same track? Sure it's fun listening to it, but something inside me wants a verse to catch o [more..] |
